Tokyo Sichuan–Chongqing Cultural Center Opens in Japan; Tomihiro Saegusa Hopes It Will “Illuminate Future Cooperation Between the Two Regions”

On November 16, at the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Sichuan–Chongqing Cultural Center, the reporter interviewed Mr. Tomihiro Saegusa, Chief Executive of Ito-Yokado’s China Business Division and Honorary President of the Sichuan–Chongqing General Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Saegusa gladly penned two congratulatory phrases for the center—“With Deep Gratitude” and “A Single Lamp Illuminates Its Corner.” He expressed his hope that the Tokyo Sichuan–Chongqing Cultural Center will take root in Tokyo, bring people together, pool collective strength, and become an important cultural landmark that enhances mutual understanding, deepens exchanges, and illuminates new possibilities for future cooperation between the two regions.
