On April 16, the 2025 Oriental Cup Model Contest opened at the International Conference Center of Yuanboyuan in the Zhengzhou Airport Economic Zone. The event attracted thousands of model enthusiasts from across China to showcase their style and write their own chapters in fashion.
The competition is divided into three major sections: the Professional Model Contest, the Children’s Model Contest, and the “Modern Era: Perfect Walk” Contest. Covering participants aged from 4 to 70, the contest features three days of intense competition, where contestants demonstrate their runway skills and fashion expression, highlighting the high-quality development and unique style of fashion in central China.
At the venue, contestants appeared in a wide array of fashionable garments—elegant, youthful, or full of individuality. During the opening ceremony, fashion brands such as “The zrsh”—a women’s fashion brand founded by Chinese designer Li Zhen that emphasizes “natural aesthetics”—and “D’modes,” a high-end brand showcasing “a blend of Eastern and Western design languages,” made impressive appearances on the Oriental Cup stage, stunning the crowd.
As one of China’s key platforms for fashion and cultural exchange, the Oriental Cup Model Contest has evolved into a major fashion symbol of the city through continuous innovation.
